Route from the Mobile Regional Airport to the Monastery

  1. DE ACCESSU AD AEDES NOTITIA BREVIS:

    1. Per aërem:

      1. Prima destinatio tua est Aëroportus Regionalis Mobiliensis (Mobile Regional Airport)

      2. Ex aëroportu melius per taxirædam (taxi or Airport Shuttle), sequens vias Airport Boulevard, deinde I-65, tandem Spring Hill Avenue duo milia passuum pervenies ad Monasterium Visitationis, cujus inscriptio viaria est 2300 Spring Hill Avenue, Mobile, Alabama.  Mappas loci supra infraque invenies.

      3. Apud aëroportum poteris etiam, si vis, autorædam locare propriam.

      4. Si difficultates experiaris cujusquam generis apud aëroportum Mobiliensem post adventum tuum, vel aliter in transitu, fac nos certiores telephonice (727-455-1503 — nos;  251-473-2321 — monasterium), atque te adjuvabimus.

    2. Via Strata:

        Si veneris per viam autocineticam, sequere I-65 ad Exitum 5A (Viam Publicam Spring Hill Avenue).  Exi ad orientem et procede per Spring Hill Avenue tantummodo duo milia passuum.  Postquam transis viam Leveret Street, Monasterium ad lævam (i.e., ad septentrionem) jacet.

  2. DE HORA ADVENTUS TUI:
    Incipit Cenaculum hora 5:30 p.m. cum cena, feria secunda, die 10 mensis Junii, 2024.  Ergo oportet antea pervenire, post meridiem eodem die ad locum registrationis, ut cubiculum materiasque quasdam accipias.

  3. DE EXITU:
    Finit cenaculum hora 1:30 p.m., post prandium, sabbato, die 15 mensis Junii.  Si velis ad aëroportum revehi, facias nos certiores, et adjutorio nostro laophorum (shuttle) vel taxiraedam poteris sumere.

  1. A SHORT NOTICE ABOUT HOW TO ARRIVE AT THE CENACULUM:

    1. By air:

      1. Your principal destination is the Mobile Regional Airport

      2. From the airport you can take the Airport Shuttle to the Visitation Monastery, following Airport Boulevard to I-65, then north to the Spring Hill Avenue exit.  The address of the monastery is 2300 Spring Hill Avenue and is exactly two miles from the I-65 exit.  See maps above and below.

      3. Rental cars are also available at the airport.

      4. If you encounter any difficulties at the Mobile Regional Airport after your arrival, or otherwise while you are attempting to arrive at the Cenaculum, please call us (727-455-1503) or the monastery (251-473-2321), and someone will help you.

    2. By road:

      1. If you come by highway, follow I-65 to Exit 5A (Spring Hill Avenue).  Exit to the east and proceed along Spring Hill Avenue for exactly two miles.  After you cross Leveret Street, the monastery is on the left (i.e. the north side of the street).

  2. ABOUT THE TIME OF YOUR ARRIVAL AT THE CENACULUM:
    The Cenaculum begins at 5:30 p.m. with supper on Monday, June 10, 2024.  Therefore you ought to arrive earlier, in the afternoon of the same day, to check in for your room assignment and to receive your materials.

  3. AT THE END OF THE PROGRAM:
    The Cenaculum ends at 1:30 p.m. after lunch on Saturday, June 15.  If you need transportation back to the airport, please let us know so that we can help you arrange a shuttle or taxi pickup.
