A SHORT NOTICE ABOUT HOW TO ARRIVE AT THE CENACULUM:
- By air:
Your principal destination is the Mobile Regional Airport From the airport you can take the Airport Shuttle to the Visitation Monastery, following Airport Boulevard to I-65, then north to the Spring Hill Avenue exit. The address of the monastery is 2300 Spring Hill Avenue and is exactly two miles from the I-65 exit. See map, above. The cost for the shuttle is $20.00 per person, or one may take a taxi of similar cost which may be shared by a group. Rental cars are also available. If you encounter any difficulties at the Mobile Regional Airport after your arrival, or otherwise while you are attempting to arrive at the Cenaculum, please call us (727-614-1728) or the monastery (251-473-2321), and someone will help you.
- By road:
If you come by highway, follow I-65 to Exit 5A (Spring Hill Avenue). Exit to the east and proceed along Spring Hill Avenue for exactly two miles. After you cross Leveret Street, the monastery is on the left (i.e. the north side of the street).
ABOUT THE TIME OF YOUR ARRIVAL AT THE CENACULUM:
The Cenaculum begins at 5:30 p.m. with supper on Thursday, July 31, 2014. Therefore you ought to arrive earlier, in the afternoon of the same day, to check in for your room assignment and to receive your materials. The cost for room and board may be paid at the time of your arrival.AT THE END OF THE PROGRAM:
The Cenaculum ends at 1:30 p.m. after lunch on Tuesday, August 5. If you need transportation back to the airport, please let us know so that we can help you arrange a shuttle or taxi pickup. |
